Training plan for next three weeks

Here is the plan:

Monday – interval training: 5 x 600m sprint followed by slow jog
Tuesday – 5km run
Wednesday – rest day
Thursday – strength training with a personal trainer
Friday – interval training: 5x 600m sprint followed by slow jog
Saturday – run outdoors, work up to 12km from 8km
Sunday – strength training with a personal trainer

With this, I hope I can complete the half marathon (21km) within three and a half hours with as little pain as possible. :thumbup1:

Today is Friday and I did the full set of interval training in the gym. What a good start! (Ha ha… with much difficulty it is.) I was so afraid that I will collapse on the treadmill when I was gasping for air while trying to make the stitches go away. The sprint ended up a not-too-fast sprint, although it is still faster than my usual relaxing pace. I doubt I will be able to clock 8km tomorrow morning though… Logistics problem, as I always say. :sweatdrop:

转眼间又超过十一点了,明天又要像个僵尸似的去上班。:O

刚才以为会开始集训,没想到又是去活受罪!痛得我那刹那觉得老毛病比较好受,不治也罢!Orz 真的是太痛苦了!全都是为了那只死鸭子… (切,还不是自找的!)

还是快把“功课”写下来,免得睡了一觉什么都忘了。

Hip stretch: Thrust hip out after pelvic tilt with 1 knee on the floor and the other knee 90 bent. Left 2 right 1.
Quad: Following previous stretch, bend knee and use hand to hold knee and stretch quads. Left 2 right 1.
Chest: Arm bent at 90 degrees and stretch. Left 1 right 2.
Abs: Lie on stomach and stretch back
Traps: Bend arm behind back, lower head to opposite direction and use the other arm to hold down the head

Need to get 3 tennis balls; 1 to use as is and the other 2 to put into a long sock (to be used for stretching traps).

临时抱佛脚是我的一个生活习惯。这是我今天突然涣然大悟的一个事实。做功课是这样,考试是这样,现在连跑马拉松也是这样。以前喜欢生活有规律,什么时候做什么都要事先安排,甚至有人觉得我不够爽快。但是现在却什么都一般不安排,连邀朋友吃饭都经常是临时才决定的。是我累了还是天性就是懒的?什么都懒得想,真是人生的一大悲剧。该睡觉了,可能明天再说说我会怎么临时准备马拉松吧。

Hello world! Haven’t played with the D3 much after loading it with Android Gingerbread last month. Finally got around doing something with it, and I can’t even remember what got me started. Right, so now I have $10 credit in my Skype account, Skype software loaded on this and the VoIP app working… Ready to put this in use, possibly next week when I’m out for a holiday! Installed Facebook for Android as well… Let’s see what else can be loaded.

IF I can get my ass off my bed early in the morning, I will be going to ECP for a long run (and that is if I don’t give up 5 minutes into the run). Planned route: Fort Road to Bedok Jetty and back. *keeping fingers and toes crossed*

Perhaps a little swim in the afternoon to shake off the fatigue? Or more like add to the fatigue…

And possibly give my son a wash in the evening if the weather and myself are up for it.

Is it really worth it?
