Training plan for next three weeks

Here is the plan:

Monday – interval training: 5 x 600m sprint followed by slow jog
Tuesday – 5km run
Wednesday – rest day
Thursday – strength training with a personal trainer
Friday – interval training: 5x 600m sprint followed by slow jog
Saturday – run outdoors, work up to 12km from 8km
Sunday – strength training with a personal trainer

With this, I hope I can complete the half marathon (21km) within three and a half hours with as little pain as possible. :thumbup1:

Today is Friday and I did the full set of interval training in the gym. What a good start! (Ha ha… with much difficulty it is.) I was so afraid that I will collapse on the treadmill when I was gasping for air while trying to make the stitches go away. The sprint ended up a not-too-fast sprint, although it is still faster than my usual relaxing pace. I doubt I will be able to clock 8km tomorrow morning though… Logistics problem, as I always say. :sweatdrop:
